Do you reckon one on each side of the joint will be enough? I used to use three but on the MCL I used five for luck.

The lid moves but the track outside doesn't.  I can always add so e more before ballasting it all.

Lots and lots of wiring to do..another mini control panel to makes and fit..something to do during our local lockdown..no visits for a while as Red Leader is now in the local lockdown...pah!

Track and sleeoers painted.. about to start doing some ballasting... now I have found some of my ballast.. seems a bit  lot too small to me...

If you run out of dilute pva I've got a spare gallon in the shed from sealing the floor.  Just trying to be helpful.

Ballasting will be revisited..

 

I was concerned that the ballast is too "small".. well

it is .. and so.. despite the use of a spray of dilute IPA and a bit of fairy liquid in the pva/water mix...

It is still quite "dusty " and not as even as I usually manage
