As I run out of things to do (all wiring I can do is done...)  I have ordered some LNWR buffer stops from Dave Franks.. his castings are superb.

Now to finish a tiny bit of ballasting .. but I need the ballast first!

You can get click and collect from Frizinghall M&Rs at the moment if they have what you want, Barry. Just order and pay over the phone (don't forget your model railway club discount) and pre-arrange a pick up time with them; ring the bell on the door when you arrive and they will bring your stuff down to the car park for you for a minimal contact handover.

Apparently you can get the same service from car garages at the moment, as my old X-Trail gellopi is cream crackered I'm trying to find another ....but I don't fancy parting with XXXX k £s having not been allowed to see or sit in it first !!

Cheers,

Ian. (3mm)

Hi Baz...

First of all, Merry Christmas matey.

I have thoroughly enjoyed finding and reading through your layout thread (While Mrs. S. sleeps off her Xmas dinner and I enjoy a rare pint of Samuel Adams).

You might just have one-upped me on the wagon count. Nothing more relaxing than building rolling stock, after the first 200 or so, one can do it keeping an eye on the tele! (Although scratch building it requires a little more attention, which I wholeheartedly recommend to you Barry).

A massage has been sent out across the void to Red Leader in hope but i doubt his vessel is up to the extra journey time required to reach the outer rim. Otherwise he might find the facilities very agreeable...

Keep it coming, we love it!

Regards Shaun

Shaun, many thanks.  I have a few scratchbuilt wagons to build but I am having a break at Christmas  ( if I don't  I think her indoors may "break" bits of me. Not had any Samuel Adams in yonks..

Stay safe and keep on building! (The station buildings are superb).

Whay-hay ... you be careful now. You'll come over all peculiar doing things like that.

Good to see progress:clapping:

But does it have a Battlespace Turbocar thingymegummy?

No. He does not own a propeller driven fast acting railway ramming device.. (But he still has an unbuilt Shackleton kit to build)

Just a thought @St Enodoc.. my l;ayout has more scenery than your layout has..... but then you have more track laid(!) and signals that work, and a working lever frame... and....

Baz

Yes, but I started mine before you started yours.
