I am creating a distinction on my YouTube channel separating my model railway and railway videos. From here on in, I have renamed my 47606odin channel to Ian’s Model Railway.

this hopefully will make this less clurttered for those of you who subscribe

A visitor on shed

Welcome Courageous. Nameplates in weathered condition now applied

unfortunately When laying out the tape on the other side of the loco, I stuck it over the number transfers....then peeled them off. What an idiot! Ah well, added to the getting long list to Steve Bell

Some may say I have an addiction.... I say, I need more Cromptons

Surely at least one of those needs to get the slimming treatment?!

I’ve seen what Brian Daniels did to make one...too much work for me. I just have to keep on at Ben at Heljan to do one. He keeps mentioning 33/1 but less desirable to me, but he says there’s not been any requests for any other than the standard Crompton’s

HG now has pits

this if the first pit road completed and I can only put up with the smell of MEK for so long.

the middle road pit is fitted ready for track laying, and no 3rd pit, as Per the video is constructed ready to mount.

hopefully I’ll get them all in tomorrow

Some intense building there Ian but there is only one way and that is the right way, well done looking very good.

I notice your weather made our local weather forecast showing sandstorms and big surfers.  As you may remember I lived up the coast from you at Scarboro for some 10 years and don't recall ever having any weather like that.  I must have got out just in time to miss the once every 10 years occurrence of this bad weather.

Regards

Stay safe

I was speaking to Tower Models when I bought one recently and they inferred a 33/1 was a possibility but nothing more certain than that.  That's the version I wanted and will convert mine if needs be but if they do a 33/1 its an excuse to buy another!

Yes, chatting with Ben at Heljan, a 33/1 is more of a probability, but don’t hold my breath
