Finally finished the last of the cant rail strip, luckily once the roof is painted it’ll tidy up the upper edges and then weathering should hide any other discrepancies. Then we can get the transfers on

Sector decals added in the correct place for 053 and 064. They were a bit of a nuisance as they kept wanting to curl up, but got there in the end

looking pretty good so far

I might need to start out-stationing some.....perhaps I need to build Tonbridge West Yard

I've see the OO Layout several times, and always admired it. The last time I saw it was at DEMU at Burton on Trent about 5 years ago, its still analogue and running many Lima 33 and 73's but mighty impressive with its many Kit and scratch built EMU's etc.

I recon you'd need an indoor Tennis Court to do it justice in O mate.

I don’t think my garden is big enough, especially if I wanted to include my childhood house

Well, Tonight we get hit by Catagory 2 Tropical Cyclone Seroja. It appears the eye of the storm will go over us as the cyclone hits land. Most of the winds will come from the east as it arrives, right on the railway room. Fingers crossed, that side of the house is protected enough by the house next door, don’t want too much water in through the crappy Australian window frames

comparing the double arrows, one is Heljans, one is Transfers. Which is which?

If my class 03 was anything to go by Heljans arrows are a bit bloated so will go with Transfer on 33055?

Well guys, just to let you know, we survived Tropical Cyclone Seroja. No power yet, maybe by Wednesday. Intermittent data connection and no phones. We suffered no damage, however, we feel sorry for the town of Kalbarri 100km up the coast where 100% of properties received some damage and received the full force of the storm

normal service will resume ASAP, but maybe a little while yet

With all that wood you can fill those gaps between the sleepers now!

Was a bit concerned tuning in today that you'd not posted since the warning. Good to hear things are ok!

Best

well guys, I’m back on the grid and connected back to the internet at home

modelling done during the outage - I looked several times, but didn’t do any as it was too dark, so didn’t want to screw it up
