Paul R i have on pre order 1x47, 1x56 3x73 1x08 1x09 and 1x122 for route learning. If there’s ever a heavyweight 37 I’d consider 1 as a Ripple lane petroleum sector 37, but that’s it. Might go for MM1 if they still do them
pwr
My list is similar to yours 1 x 31/5, 1 x47, 2 x 56, 2 x 40 and 2 x 122. The 40's and 122's are in different liveries for the different periods I will operate the layout. I am not sure the wife will be happy with the bill but in fairness the 47 was a bribe for her having a boiling tap. Paul R

47606odin
Removing the factory weathering to a suitable standard typical of the restricted weekend and ballast train loco. will tweak some streaks at a later date. Baggies1961
Hi Ian, What did you use to remove the factory weathering?
P.C.M
I think 50019 was a bit of a wagon. probably why it ended up in the DCWA pool. Although near the end a couple of the DCWA loco's ended up working on the Mule due to having lower engine hours that some of the regular loco's loco's. Took this pic back in the day Ian, you might find it useful for weathering. Cheers Peter. 5

I’ll keep it weathered rather than oily and sooty as per some photos I saw

Great video by the way Paul R indeed. The added issue with this is the length of how much the headstocks extended beyond the bogie centres. The swing round curves is huge
