47606odin
Ordered some Gloucester bogies from shapeways from Simonbrblue. Not cheap, but hopefully easier to build than the white metal ones I have, so I can get on with my TML wagon build
pwr
Been eyeing up some of his wagons for some time. Might invest in the Campbells Soups van which needs a 1:50 curtain sided trailer as a source for the curtain sides. You can get cheap Cararama versions from Ebay and elsewhere and they won't show the lines which are evident in 3D printing. Paul R

Paul R I was contemplating a SKOG works, sealion, but there’s a lot of printing lines evident, and with the rivet detail it’s not easy to clean up

However these options are not available from Shapeway. I have some APT-E E1 and E1T bogies which were printed for me and that said they look OK Paul R

47606odin
Today, I got on with some long outstanding jobs on the depot building. I finally glazed the windows, and boxed in the rear of the water tank tower i tested the lighting and I have the effect I wanted. Light in the offices and stair well windows, and just a faint glow in the water tower windows. Just enough so they’re not pitch black. There will not be any detailing inside the tower, just in the two rooms on the ground floor. These will be generic details rather than accurate representations as I don’t have the same room as in the real depot building, and lack of photos

47606odin
Details starting to appear. I’ve corrected the frame colour on the stairwell window, I meant to do it before I glazed it, but forgot, and the first 3 notice cases started. The paint is not the finished paint finish, but it gives the idea
