Well I took another look at the drawings not so long ago, but nothing to report as of this moment.

What if a 3D-printed body on a Hornby B12 Chassis can work? All you need is a C Class tender and there you go. Just a thought...

That looks promising! Will the rest of it play out just like the drawings?

Well...

I'll leave you to decide whether it has or not:

I know it should have a Belpaire firebox, but I've decided this one was reboilered by Maunsell, retaining its Wainwright fittings.

Nice! It would look nice with a Belpaire firebox like the Wainwright E Class 4-4-0 and decked out in SE&CR Lined Green livery, but it's your model, I suppose. Still, a smashing job, that!

Ah, well by time I realised it needed a Belpaire firebox it was too late to add one.

Unless I'm very much mistaken, the first model of this to appear won't be my own. Mine might end up in full Wainwright, but will most likely end up in lined olive. Or maybe SECR Grey.

A Heretic writes:  It seems a complete waste of a perfectly good B12/3, a 3d printed S69 body would be far more sensible.......

I'm very much picking and choosing what CAD stuff I do these days, but an S69 may appear eventually. For that I'd want to use the proper-length new B12 chassis though.

Sounds like a good idea.
