bulver
Hello Howard, You have an article by Phil entitled ‘Variations on a Theme’ which highlights a Metcalfe small cottage kit, which the article says is available from the Warner’s website (world-ofr-railways.co.uk). But I cannot find a way of accessing the order site for it. Would be grateful for your assistance Many thanks Rod
GWR8700
Having a read through now as mine has just arrived, very enjoyable. Just watched the DVD and I particularly liked the section on Little Bytham. I really enjoy the features that focus on a large layout showing an operating sequence so if we could see more of that then that would be fantastic. RMweb Gold RedgateModels Posted October 11, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 11, 2018 There's already rumbles of disquiet on FB about the lack of free card kit for subscribers. grahame
Is there a DVD with the paper issue? The price looks to remain high enough for it. G
RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted October 11, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 11, 2018 Don't subscribers count as readers then? Chris The message is a bit mixed in Steve's post isn't as in one place it refers to 'every reader' but it then refers to 'newsstand copies' coming with the free kit. Seems maybe we subscribers area cut above 'every' and perhaps beyond simple kit building in our skills or interests but instead we also get a different cover and the DVD for our money so it looks like newsstand visitors aren't getting the DVD. So lots of mixed marketing here and i'm sure that makes sense as various ideas are tried out by the BRM team but I do wonder on this particular occasion about the cost of running two different covers?
