It is important to point out that due to the supplier event, some Atlas locomotive and rolling stock PRE-ORDERS are temporarily not guaranteed. Instead, Atlas will estimate product demand and production will begin on models before announcing them. Once production has begun, a notification will be released in the form of Atlas’ All Scales Monthly Catalog (ASMC) allowing customers to place pre-orders with their local hobby shop. These orders will be limited in quantity and order allocations may be necessary. Other products will remain GUARANTEED PRE-ORDERS and will be announced prior to production in the ASMC.There are a few select products that are “SURPRISE ANNOUNCEMENTS” and will arrive within weeks of their announcement in the ASMC. This looks like a very nice piece of kit. I've purchased one of their N scale kits, and the quality is excellent. From their Facebook post from earlier today:"We expect to start shipping HO kits by the end of February and the N-Scale kits by the end of March. The HO kits will be available exclusively from the New York Central System Historical Society (nycshs.org). The N-Scale kits will be available on our website THENARCH.COM and local retailers." They already do the FT bodyshell so it's only the mechanism that needed to be reworked to include sound. In the meantime, BLI have started doing sound-equipped F units so perhaps they'll end up doing the versions I'd like before the Intermountain ones arrive, assuming they ever do.
