Fitzer
Fantastic pics from Andy of the A class, they clear up so many concerns I had a about the shape from previous pics. The shape of this is well and truly captured and must have been a challenge to get the cab profile just right. Any chance they can be reposted up on the IRM forums? RMweb Gold BR Blue Posted October 11, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 11, 2019 I saw the A class this week and the shape looks spot on. Very different from the old resin versions I was used to seeing. This model definitely captures the look of the A class. 1

I have found references to sound, but nothing that says it will be fitted before purchase. Is this going to be an aftersales option and, if not, when will we ba able to order sound fitted models? Of course, it's quite possible that all this has been discussed somewhere else and I've misssed it, so I apologise now if that's the case. It would be nice if my bubbles had something noisy at the front . . . . . .

The speakers will be pre-installed in all locos, so all you will have to do is pop the roof off, and plug the chip in. Cheers! Fran 1

Fran Fran, and all the people at Accurascale / IRM May I say that, not only are your models excellent, but the whole professionalism of your organisation is fantastic and to be admired. I'm particularly struck by the photographic quality of the pictures you've provided. Crisp and all in focus, well lit, no distracting background. This I've also noted in your CAD drawings, again concise, consistently informative and very clear images. For what's it worth, well done from me. I'm looking forward to see the other liveries over the next few days, as I'll certainly be ordering one (or two). Hi Al, A number of our wagons have them and no problems with them so far. The odd one will fall off, but we do provide spares in a baggy. Only some of the A Classes have them, the later GM rebuilds. Our test sample has proven them to be reliable with testing so far, but there will be more testing done before production is given full go ahead.
