Going2theDogs
Hi All, It has been confirmed above that additional models will be produced of the BBA in bauxite & also EWS liveries. Now what would be great is if the Railfreight livery of red & black was also produced but this time with a different running number.

EWS and Bauxite are in addition to probably multiple Railfreight versions. There might be other variations too, lets wait and see...

RBE
Great video that! We are of course looking at the potential numbers for each livery for a re-run of the BLAs in the second batch.
richscylla
The end of the year is nigh and I doubt any other new wagons will be released - the BBA certainly gets my vote for wagon of the year. It's a real stunner. 2

Going2theDogs
Hi All, Reference the second run of these magnificent BBA wagons. There was some 'chatter' last November about an EWS variant, bauxite version & potentially some more Railfreight wagons There was also mentioned a possibility of more BLA's. Was there a definitive list provided by the manufacturer & a timeline on when these are expected? I would like to get my order in, but not sure what will be available. Thanks in advance. bazjones1711
Seeing that the BBA with six cradles are to be made here is some information on them ; BBA wagon pool 4225 Various to various stainless slab / coil . Total 33 910003 , 006 , 112 , 170 , 179 , 216 , 223 , 234 , 235 , 258 , 264 , 269 , 275 , 292 , 307 , 413 , 420 , 421 , 422 , 423 , 424 , 425 , 426 , 427 , 440 , 441 , 447 , 450 , 461 , 465 , 469 , 484 , 489 . These 33 wagons were fitted with 6 traverse cradles for carrying stainless slab cast from Tinsley Park steelworks to the East coast ports like Grimsby for an onward sea journey to Germany for rolling , only to be brought back on the same wagons now as coil to Tinsley and Panteg , slab also ran from Tinsley to Lackenby and Port Talbot to be rolled into coil , but as these plants dealt with normal steel , the process of rolling stainless was not best suited to these two plants , hence a switch to European plants . These wagons ran with BDA , BMA with slab and SPA , BAA , BDW with imported coil either as semi finished coil to Tinsley and Panteg or as wrapped finished steel to the likes of Wolverhampton , Brierley Hill etc.. Liveries for these were black with railfreight logo and red cradles or original bauxite brown with brown cradles . 2 1

Mark Saunders
That’s the best shot of the slab oil ones I have seen as the only one I took is out of focus as I was rushing when I took it.
