The second run of our popular BBA steel carriers have arrived!

Since arriving yesterday morning, we’ve undertaken a stock take and our quality control checks are well underway. All being well the wagons will be with retailers by the weekend/early next week - thanks again to our customers for their support with this project.

Mine have just arrived from Rails (just a happy customer) and these look fantastic. They are a good weight, allow for a range of loads to be added and are versatile enough to fit into a range of (modern) eras.

Looking forward to running these on Loftus Road at some time in the future and thank you to Cavalex for having the courage to produce these in the first place!

Thanks Harry feedback is always welcome.

The BBA's have been around since the 70s so any 'modern' era is covered!

Also looking forward to seeing them on Loftus Road!

Mine have arrived from Rails.  I am a very happy bunny.  I have wanted to model decent length steel trains for a long time and these wagons enable me to do this.  They are superb.

Many thanks to all at Cavalex and Happy Christmas.

Hi All,

I have also received my BBA’s from Rails (including the 2 with the metals sub-sector branding).

I spoke to Rails on Wednesday to confirm my pre-order & pay, They arrived the following day - exceptional service especially at this time of the year. Thank you Rails.

Some photos of prototypes that may have been modelled by Cavalex - no site confirms final identities, and I may well have missed some, there are a lot between different retailers.

Amazing, they arrived the next day - the slabs and coils are excellent.

Very kindly received one of the EWS variants for Christmas off the good lady. Outstanding model, really impressed and happy with the detail.

Is anyone able to confirm whether the model is meant to come with a screw link coupling/any pipework?

Yes there should be a detail pack with screw links, NEM blanking plates, air pipes, metal deck stancions, and P4 brake calipers.

If you haven't got them drop us an email and we will send you a pack.

Just ordered 8 of the BBA's from three separate stockists. My first purchase of Cavalex wagons and from what i can see, their wagons are the dogs danglies. They are selling out like hotcakes particularly the Railfreight ones.

They will look lovely sat behind a 37

Hi All,

Just following up on the most recent run of these superb BBA’s.

Once again, there has been quite a lot of interest in the Railfreight versions with some versions already sold out.

I would suggest, if you are contemplating acquiring some of these, act soon.

Once they are gone, they are gone (until the next run anyways).
