We are long established club, founded in 1959, and meet on Monday and Friday evenings in our club rooms in Sutton in Ashfield. (Based in the compound behind the Lammas Leisure Centre).

These days the focus is on modelling and we cater for most scales but we also have a good selection of reference books.

In order of size we have the following layouts.

N gauge.  There is a fairly large continuous run layout, Ashfield, a couple of smaller layouts, Kirktown and Nutts Lane.

00 gauge.   Sutton-in-Ashfield Town.  An accurate model of what would have been our local station. Code 100 track.

                   Radford Mill.                     Code 75 track

Ambleside                        SMP code 75 track and hand built points.

                   Willanend                         A junior layout

0 gauge     A permanent set up for running trains.

It is not possible due to space restrictions to have all layouts available all of the time.

I will post some pictures shortly.

New members are always welcome.

We hold an exhibition in October each year and here is a link to a You-tube video taken this year courtesy of Marti Edwards.
