Sandhole
Here I go on ebay again! On line at the moment is a High Level Barclay 0-6-0 side tank and an Impetus Hunslet 15" 0-6-0 saddle tank. High Level kit is still very much available, so it will be interesting to see if it goes over list price!! The Impetus kit is a piece of history. It is buildable but, personally, I'd go for Mike Edge's offering. The kit will be eminently buildable and, more importantly, Mike is on hand to offer advice if you get completely up the creek!!!! The Impetus name means that this, I suspect will go for daft money!!! Before antbody asks, no, I have no interest in a Hunslet 15" tank!! I'd buy Mike's one if I had!! Chris. At the moment, this isn't too bad 'cos it is a complete kit. Wheels, gearbox and motor. C.

Me too, but I can understand the allure. The Impetus kit has all-metal castings as opposed to resin. There has been activity on Karlgarin website for the first time in 2 years earlier this month, sadly not related to Impetus products. Paul A.

Brings back memories of going into Karlgarin Models when it was an actual model shop in Chelmsford. Richard was always very helpful when I was first dabbling in model building.
