It does sound as if it is only running on one engine- I didn't catch the ultra-bass throb of the two Napiers being out of sync with each other- the result of the accessories not being evenly divided causing them to run at slightly different speeds. Les1952 Posted January 16, 2022 Share Posted January 16, 2022 Went to order a sound fitted Pinza and then thought twice about it and didn't... Ordered a sound-fitted Nimbus instead. I remember them mostly with small yellow panels. These were the usual suspects that deafened us at the time while platform ending at Darlington or sitting on the wall behind Pensbury Street. My (female) cousin who lived in Pensbury Street taught me to climb lamp posts so we could get to the wall top.. Ballymoss The Black Watch Tulyar Kings Own Yorkshire Light Infantry in 1980s Green livery I got introduced to Deltics when i was 6 or 7 years old by my two much older brothers when we use to go and stay at my Aunts in Sandy. The first and only loco type that use to scare the life out of me when they roared through at 100mph+. Left a lasting impression on me.... I'm going to wake up the neighbours with my four!
