RMweb Premium Alex TM Posted November 28, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 28, 2018 Hi everyone, I have a couple of wagon kits in the cupboard that are currently of little use to me; they are a Parkside Vanwide, and a pipe wagon. That said, if I replace the suspension, etc, I can use them as a VEA and ODA respectively. I know I can readily get the parts to do this, however I am thinking of using etched brass w-irons to give a bit of extra weight and strength. Can anyone advise on what make and type to use? Thanks and regards, Alex.

RMweb Premium Alex TM Posted November 28, 2018 Author RMweb Premium Share Posted November 28, 2018 Hi again, Thanks for the link; your method looks straightforward, and has the advantage of showing where air reservoirs, etc, are fitted. I should be able to pick-up the FAT 19 chassis locally tomorrow. Will look at another way of adding weight low down on the model. Regards, Alex.
