Joseph Brandl, who built this layout, is a professional layout builder and is well known in Germany. His work is described in several small books (published by Eisenbahn Journal) which are well worth having, even if you have no interest in German railways. His layouts are always exceptional but I shudder to think what they might cost the customer.
