RMweb Gold Popular Post Adrian Stevenson Posted November 14, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Popular Post Share Posted November 14, 2021 Hi Andy, yes I will. Not decided on the surface finish yet for the road and yard. Added the glazing to the GUV this afternoon. Got to make the window bars up next. Started on my first building using foam board. Just the basic shell so far. This is the original station hot water hut and became the parcels office in 1899. A larger wooden parcels office replaced it in 1912 and it was then used as a porters room. It needs a chimney stack adding plus two windows and a door. Cheers, Ade. 21 1

Got this done and now ballast in place. Works fine. Put a bit of grass matting in place too. Cheers, Ade. 6 2

RMweb Gold Adrian Stevenson Posted December 8, 2021 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted December 8, 2021 Hi Julian, the buckets were from Chris at Minerva. The fire irons came with the Heljan 61xx I think? As there were spares I used them here. Cheers, Ade. 1

I keep meaning to get one and mark off all the routes I've done out of curiosity!

I often see old track beds from the cab of my wagon , (which you don’t notice from a car) as I travel around the countryside and it’s fun to check them at later on with a map. As my favourite line is the Cheshire Lines I’ve always got a map in the cab which doubles up when I need a good cup of coffee
