RMweb Gold D9020 Nimbus Posted December 15, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 15, 2018 I thought the early crest Jinty arrived very recently? Interesting how many of these are reissues—there is really no excuse that I can see for a four or five-year delay in such cases! No firm other than Bachmann seems to have this type of issue. RMweb Premium Colin Posted December 16, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 16, 2018 All 3 Jinties appeared this year, I have both BR versions in my own collection. 47500 was the last to arrive (November), we still have a few in stock at the shop where I work. lindi
I've updated the original post. Bachmann are showing them as currently On Order, so maybe a second run is being planned. I model in the 1970's so I was not sure of what stream has been produced,
Ed-farms
The day at the races set is out, it was in the shops in 2016.
'CHARD
I model in the 1970's so I was not sure of what stream has been produced, The stream I produce hasn't altered much since the 1970s, TBH. It's often quite a bit more forceful after a night on the ale, mind you.
RMweb Gold TomE Posted December 17, 2018 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 17, 2018 As mentioned elsewhere, there are CAD images for the refurbished 31s in the latest Bachman’s Collectors club magazine, so progress is being made on that one. grahame
I've just received the Spring 2019 issue of the BCC 'Bachmann Times' which contains it's usual round up of project progress. And for N gauge there is good news regarding multiple units: Apparently the class 319 EMU has now progressed to the 'tool room' for tooling. I don't recall seeing CAD images for it but it has passed their 'drawing office' stage. The class 158 DMU (new tooling version) and class 450 EMU are currently in the 'drawing office'. The class 170 DMU is at the 'livery artwork' stage (along with the 8F, and Mk2 and Thompson coaches) G 1 3
Roy L S
Thanks Grahame. Seems like the 8F and Thompsons are making good progress. Those awaiting the new (and bound to be popular) 158 will possibly be slightly disappointed, but at least it is moving forward. Roy

steve1023
Cool. New Bachmann times due. Something to look forward too. Good to see the 319 finally start to progress up the development ladder.
RMweb Gold TomE Posted March 7, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 7, 2019 There is a CAD image of the Class 319 driving vehicle in the latest mag. Looks promising, although the curvature around the top of the passenger doors looks a little excessive to my eyes. Tom.

As I mentioned earlier I'd not seen any CADs prior to the model getting to tool room stage and the one in the magazine is the first I've seen. Yes, the radius of the curves at the top of the doors is too great (over pronounced) and the front valance doesn't look right. It's the flat plate type rather than the moulded air dam but should be set back further (it looks too much in line with the cab front) and behind the lower cab moulding. G. RMweb Gold TomE Posted June 11, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 11, 2019 There are more 319 CAD images in the latest Bachmann mag, including all 4 cars. The door radius looks much improved. It is still listed as being in the tool room. Tom.
Stefen1988
The LNER J72 can be kiled from the List, Bachmann canceled them.
