Here we follow the progress of WD 90065 as she waits for a clear road  and then slowly picks up speed and heads out into the country

Labouring on with a long train of mineral wagons she finally crosses Felldale  Viaduct and eases away into the distance

While the  0-6-0 sorts out the wagons I try to learn how to sort out the photos with this new system.

So hopefully the next photo will be below this caption.

OK so far I'm getting used to it now.

Now the wagons have been sorted the J15 calls in to collect the empty coal stock

And then heads out with the stock.

On the subject of marshaling can someone tell me if there is a lamp code for an engine working solely within the confines of the Station and Yard.

I recently came across this Laser Cut kit of a Woodmans cottage which seemed an ideal addition to fill a spare space on the layout, so it was duly built and weathered.

In order to create a little cameo scene I then sorted out a couple of suitable tree armatures

The footprint of the cottage was then scraped out of the grass so that it bedded in properly in the field.

The Tree Armatures were then trimmed to fit the site and built up by gluing seafoam sprigs to the ends of the branches followed by a spray of light brown colour.

When dry they were sprinkled with layers of blended turf held in place by firmhold hair lacquer.

You have been busy looks great like the house and trees.

Thanks, I got the idea for making the trees from the Little Muddle site (superb work) as its the best method that iv'e come across.

Its a little fiddly but you can make very realistic trees fairly quickly and i'm getting a bit past spending hours making trees from twisted wire anymore.

Although they must have been taken on different days as the load is different.

I really liked the recently introduced carflats so I gradually acquired three of them and fitted them with a selection of Morris Cars to represent a factory delivery.

Here we see D137 The Cheshire Regiment approaching with a mixed train including the carflats.
