Looking forward to this Jack. Is the venue easy to find, I'm guessing Dover Road park and ride would be signposted?

Steve.

Yes, Dover p&r is well signposted from the Dover side of the city. From Essex i guess you’ll be coming down the a2, in which case your satnav may take you past canterbury and back in frm the dover end (quicker than negotiating the city centre probably).

The school is next door to the p&r, and there will be plenty of signs.

Come off the A2 at the exit for Bridge (it’s a village) and then follow the signs at the top of the slip road to take you back towards Canters and the park and ride.

Wot 'ee said!!  Take the Bridge turning off the A2 after Canterbury, then keep right at the top of the slip road and follow the signs back into Canterbury (and the Park & Ride).

Thanks

Still thinking whether to take the 16 Gold or 17 Scenic bus to Canterbury tomorrow.....maybe 17 to the show and 16 home.

Having chatted earlier this afternoon with Kevin of Coastal DCC he confirms that he will be attending the show tomorrow and Sunday despite not being shown on the Trade list above.

Just spent a great day at the show! Great Layouts including the last outing  for T Wells West Yard. Good balance of traders  and I was particularly impressed with the range on Rail Books stand and the depth of products on Kent Garden Railways stand.

If you haven't been go tomorrow and they have a good deal for families on Sunday.

Kirkmellington home and unpacked by 1930 after a cracking weekend. A great show, lots of comments and compliments from the public and a very friendly and welcoming host club and their members. A big thank you from us.

Great to finally meet the O of OTCM and see Six Quarters, a wonderfully bleak portrayal of a Cumbrian coal yard and Tarring Neville and its array of industrials.

Tidworth was back home by ten to seven, quicker than expected, after a great weekend at the Canterbury show. Thanks to our hosts for the hospitality and to Mike, Graham and Stuart for their company and assistance.

A huge thanks to everyone who came along last weekend, as exhibitors, visitors and traders.  It was our 30th anniversary show, and we were very pleased with it.  And thankfully the weather was kind, if a little nippy!!

We're working on a gallary on our website for pictures of the superb layouts which attended, and I'll let you know as soon as thats working.

In the meantime, next years show will be on the 18th and 19th January 2020.
