Cheers Al, Actually I'm not that pleased with the Station Building, the kit is fine, it was the Builder / Painter that was the problem. I didn't clean up the joints fully and do a trial fitting before attacking it with the Glue, (Bodgit at his best). and a shaky hand when painting doesn't help.

RMweb Premium Siberian Snooper Posted February 23, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted February 23, 2019 The blending of the scenery into the backscene works well!

RMweb Gold tractionman Posted February 25, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 25, 2019 That's a terrific backscene, I love those trees, amazing stuff, all looks very much like mid-Wales scenery too, rolling hills, and leading the eye to higher flat-topped mountains in the distance. Lovely sense-of-place. cheers, Keith
380John
That vanishing Road looks excellent! Just the right tone between foreground and back scene and the embankments enhance the "3D" effect. I've seen it done many times but some are more convincing than others. Top draw bodge! John 3
georgeT
Really captured the distance on the back scene Buddy, looks very realistic... 2
gismorail
Agree with all the above comments Andy ....Bala Town is really coming to life now gone away from just tracks on the baseboard. Keep at it mate you've started something here now excellent, developing nicely into kettle corner ....hope you have set up some good brew facilities 2
Deano747
Hi Andy Ditto to all the above. I watched your back scene painting video yesterday and you make it look so easy, but so effective! Keep up the (steady) good work. Regards, Deano.

Andrew P
Thanks Guys, Your comments are really appreciated, still not happy with a few bits though, so will sort them later. First job ths morning was the other fence along the embankment base.
Andrew P
Next job was to make a base to fit the Shed over so that it would be held square and the sides not distort.
Popular Post Andrew P
Then before adding a base, cinders and bushes I moved the wall back to allow more room for the Bay Signal. Please excuse the wet PVA especially at the end of the Shed. 25 1

BUT I DIDN'T, and WON'T, time to move on. 1
Andrew P
Anyway, it wouldn't be seen anyway as there will always be a Loco parked over that area.
