Hi Everyone.

I have finished the main building of the coal stage and painted it, just needs a bit more work / detail and it should be finished.

Here is a photo of how it looks so far:

Nice modelling Jerry. I do like the shape of the factory chimney.

Thanks guys.

I'm hoping to do a bit more work to the layout today.

Looks great - you've got that branch line shed scene down.

Thanks guys for your kind words.

I have been very busy lately but managed to do a bit more to the layout.

I have been working on a bridge and it's more or less complete, just needs a tiny bit more work.

Hi Everyone.

I have managed to do a tiny bit more today and I made a retaining wall at the back of the layout.

Here is a couple of photos:

Thanks Marly51, very kind of you to say so.

Some more information about the layout.

I got the idea from Steve1 a while ago, seeing his boxfile layout gave me inspiration and I have been meaning to build a boxfile layout for a while.

Like Steve's layout mine will eventually be extended with more boxfiles.

The shed scene is the first and this is mostly made with Metcalfe kits and brick sheets.

The engine shed is scratch built and will be covered in wills sheets and painted.

Other details will be added along the way from peco, Bachman etc.

More soon.

Thanks Stu70.

Hi Everyone.

I managed an hour today so I made a archway next to the engine shed and also put a backscene on the lid too, this will be permanently open so forms part of the layout.

Here is a photo of how it looks now:

Thanks Steve.

Hello Everyone.

I have done a bit more to the layout and painted the track sides, I also will ballast the track with woodland scenics cinders ballast.

I will need to build a small building / stores area or get a grounded van kit, add details, lights, figures etc.

I will post a photo tomorrow after glue dries from tonight's ballasting.

more soon.

Jerry.

Hi Everyone.

I didn't manage to do any more modelling as I have done something to my shoulder / neck and its painful, I'm going to give it until the weekend and if it doesn't go I'll have to go to doctors.

Hopefully it will go.

Jerry.

I am assuming the ‘heart’ still symbolises sending sympathy, Jerry? Hope you feel better by the weekend!
