Ceptic
Antony M. Ford's done it again. Released during the past few days, after a fastidious study of his work, this long awaited volume is now on your favourite bookshop shelves. Published by Noodle Books, and printed by our old favourite, Ian Allan, ISBN 978-1-906419-22-6, at the rather hefty price of £29.95 , but, in my view, worth every penny. Hopefully, more tomes are to follow, that's if his works, so far, haven't worn the fellow out. I hesitate to go into detail, but the chapters include detailed descriptions of the 'Harrogate' cars, the exported (Ireland & Italy) cars, the 'Scottish' cars and the 'Hastings' cars. These, among a multitude of others. In fact, are something for everyone. I've also got a faint hope that someone with the inspriation, knowledge and knowhow will be able to produce, in the future, such an equivivalent book, on any passenger rolling stock, what ever railway/region, to this standard. Well done, Antony M. Ford.
