I have never seen any pictures of any whether independent or loco mounted on Class 76s yet the winters could be harsh. RMweb Premium keefer Posted January 24, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted January 24, 2019 I doubt 76s would be allowed on independent ploughs as the 76's buffing gear was bogie-mounted, meaning any shocks from ploughing through snow would be directly transmitted to the bogie pivots with the likelihood of major damage.
