These are from W&S days, and the brandings did differ.

And that is just north of Banbury...

Hi again all - sorry to ressurrect this thread again but I noticed in the top photo that Dave has very kindly provided that the FO in the shot is a Mk3B. Was this still being used in the set in 2014-2016 time? I can’t make out the running number.

Thanks again

That one could 11083, but they also had 11086 amongst others,

Both now appear to be in the ex-Cargo-D set, according to http://www.railtourinfo.co.uk/coach.html

Dave

Sadly that site appears very out of date. There is no MK3 charter set in the Mainline with all of the Cargo-D coaches sold on, mainly to DB Regio / Arriva. Several are now converted to the Chiltern plug door variants.

the two FOs you mention have been converted to SOs by Arriva Wales and are used in the WAG express but will be replaced by mk4s during 2019 so face an uncertain future

11083 is now 12179

11086 is now 12181

Just checke

Hi! Just checked the web site and found it only has current formations as of the end of 2018. Is there a historical lookup, as W&S has now demised!!

There appears to be no AL06 and the coaches are now part of AL05.

Interesting, last time I checked it was still AL06! Anyway, I gather you are actually looking for Wrexham & Shropshire formations?

If so I have a list somewhere I can dig out.

^ - declassified

AL06 (18th November 2018)

11029 - Mk3a FO* (-/68 2T 2W)

12054 - Mk3a TSO (-/70 2T 1W)

12094 - Mk3a TSO (-/76 2T)

12017 - Mk3a TSO (-/72 2T)

82305 - Mk3b DVT

* - reseated with Standard Class seats

Excellent.  I've spent days trawling the net and found this via Google as a random picture linked to pictures above.

Looking at buying a few Oxford Mk3 to renumber and this is great and keeps me bang up to date for a general London layout

Cheers

That would be great !

I'm sorry it took so long, I completely forgot, my apologies.

June 2011

WS001: 12169+12131+12072+10236+82301

WS002: 12124+12014+11029+12043+12053+82302

WS003: 12059+12048+12069+10230+82303

WS004: 12175+12174+12173+82304

WS005: 12127+12117+12145+10208+82305

I believe WS004 was effectively a "spares" set as carriage 12175 from it was put into WS001 as a strengthener between the loco and 12169.

You're welcome; for up to date information look at abrail.co.uk and the LHCS page - we've already established set AL06 has been renumbered since November for a start!
