Just to let you all know the planning for the SWAG Party for this year is well under way, with another stunning line up of layouts, demonstrations, traders and of course, catering.

More details to follow soon, but put the date in your diary now.

Now,........what to wear?

On a positive, it's on a Sunday so you will have clean underpants on.

This was billed as another, annual, convivial gathering of like minded souls.

Then, Stu invited my brother and I.

You have been warned.

Brian R.

Well, the Cardiff equivalent of the friendly Taunton 'do' Small Layouts Show last Saturday was fab, too.

Down for the the whole weekend. Will be demonstrating plasticard abuse in the Sunday. Going to take in the WSR on Saturday. Are there any plans for the Saturday evening yet? Just wondering where best to book accommodation to save driving or a taxi after a pint or two.

Looking forward to it, and it will now be Wheal Imogen’s first exhibition after yesterday’s cancelled Yate show.

if anyone wants a drive while I go for a pastey it will be appreciated

I would be quite willing to do that for you.

Hi Rich

How many pasties can you eat?

In principle I wouldn't be averse to layout sitting, (with appropriate training!)

All the best

Thanks for the offers.

I can eat plenty of pasties, and drink a lot of tea, so there will be plenty of opportunities for those interested to drive some trains.  Right now I don’t know if it will be DC or DCC, or for that matter what the left hand fiddleyard will look like, but training will be provided.

Must get on and fit the coupling magnets.....

If you need training in the art of absenting yourself from your layout 'for half an hour', I would suggest you approach Mr M. Jones, of North Wales.

He may also be able to give helpful advice on where to purchase your checked shirts.
