Clearwater
Hi I'm fairly certain the two younger chaps in my household would like a trip behind an A4. I think only 60009 is in ticket at present. Does anyone know whether 60009 will be running on any of the preserved lines this spring/summer? Not sure I want to take a 3 and 7 year old on an all day mainline run! David

RMweb Gold adb968008 Posted January 28, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted January 28, 2019 It spends a lot of its spare time at East Lancs. I turned up there one cold winters day and got 34092 and 60009 running on one occasion. ! A quick look online suggests its mainline ticket runs out in April, but may be extended until July, though at 7 years I presume it may be able run a bit longer on preserved lines, assuming it holds out.

The East Lancs website does post a loco roster. It doesn't yet show what is running on Feb 2nd & 3rd onwards. http://www.eastlancsrailway.org.uk/
