my Isle of Wight layout so far

lost track

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have not been on the forum much in the past few months. When I havent been working I have been plodding away at my layout, slowly adding a bit of scenery here or a new item of rolling stock there.

This is my first attempt at building a model railway and I have chosen to create a fictitious branch line set on the Isle of Wight It has now been nine months since I began work on the layout and progress, although at times seems painfully slow has been very enjoyable.

I have included a few of the latest images of the layout to date. Not great quality as I am using a logitech quickcam. I do have a Konica Minolta but have so far been unable to discover the whereabouts of the software disc that would enable me to use it with my laptopblush.gif

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for the comments. The layout is set up on three 6ftx2ft tables that I built for the project.

The station terminus that you can see in the pictures that I have named Rocken End is based loosely on a trackplan of Ventnor West station circa 1950
