Ragtag
Yes I tried at North Road too (decided to check out the exhibition). I eventually drove to Peters Spares, did see a pacer Bishop bound as I headed home but as I was behind the wheel, no pic.

RMweb Gold Market65 Posted September 4, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 4, 2019 Well today I was at Hull Paragon station, and saw 142026 waiting to form the 11.53 to Sheffield. Of the two photo’s I’m posting here, one is of the panelling around one of the passenger saloon windows. You can see the rust which is bubbling up! The top of the panel under the window is all wavy, which is something I have not noticed before. Is it not time to get these rust buckets withdrawn and put out of their misery? Best regards, Rob.

Talltim
A Pacer where it shouldn’t be. 142026 suns itself at platform 3 at Chesterfield after the Northern random unit generator allocated it to a Leeds-Nottingham service on 05/09/19. Pacers aren’t cleared through to Nottingham so the train was terminated. Not sure how long it sat there, a brief look at Realtimetrains didn’t seem to show a return working. When it started this service was exclusively 158s. In the last year or so it has gone downhill, frequently 150s, this morning it was two 153s and it’s the second time I’ve seen a Pacer on it. RMweb Gold Market65 Posted September 6, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 6, 2019 That’s the 142 I saw on Wednesday at Hull Paragon station, and posted a couple of photo’s of it. So, yes, the RUG is working very well indeed! I wonder where it will turn up next? Best regards, Rob.

It would seem as though it sat there for about 90 minutes. RMweb Gold 4630 Posted September 8, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 8, 2019 (edited) On my way to the expoEM at Wakefield yesterday, I called in at Woodlesford to get a couple of photos of DRS 68005 Defiant and 68017 Hornet which were working a Norwich to Carlisle rail tour - photos in this thread for anyone interested - whilst I was there a couple of Pacers also worked through on local services. 144006 slows for its booked stop working 2L06, 08.04 Sheffield to Leeds. 142009 arrived with 2F07, 08.58 Leeds to Knottingley... ...which also had 142094 as the rear unit. RMweb Gold Market65 Posted September 8, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 8, 2019 This gets very interesting about 142026...... Today I spotted it working between Hull and York coupled up to one of the two car 144’s, so it got back to Hull someway or another! No photo’s of it unfortunately, but I do have this one from earlier today of 142064, at Leeds about to depart on the 15.52 to Sheffield. With an Azuma in the background.....the old and the new. RMweb Gold Market65 Posted September 15, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 15, 2019 Last Thursday, the 12th September, I got back from Scarborough, and at Beverley station greeting me was 142078. It was on the 17.32 to Bridlington, ex Hull. It would form a return to Hull later in the evening. So here’s three photo’s I was able to take of it. The class 158, for the record is 158848. RMweb Premium brushman47544 Posted September 18, 2019 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 18, 2019 Some of those high back seats look like they might be reasonably comfortable, if you ignore the Pacers they are fitted in. perhaps they could be recycled to Thameslink to replace the Class 700 seats.
RMweb Gold 4630 Posted September 19, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted September 19, 2019 The hourly service between Huddersfield and Leeds via Bradford Interchange remains, for now at least, diagrammed for Pacers. Northern 142089 approaches its booked stop at Brighouse on 19th September 2019 with 2W10, 11.53 Huddersfield - Leeds.

DOCJACOB
Was let out yesterday to go to a Cancer Conference in York. Well out of my usual area in NE Lincolnshire so just had to point the iphone in these chaps direction. Traveled once in them and sorry to say once too often! Even managed a few miles from Doncaster to York and return behind Class 91 too.
