RMweb Gold 4630 Posted December 15, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 15, 2019 (edited) On 15th December 2019 another three Northern 142s left to meet their fate. 142086+142012+142079 worked 5Z42, 13.19 Holbeck Loco Sidings to Landore TMD, pictured here at Colne Bridge on the outskirts of Huddersfield. STP paths are also in the system on 16th-20th December for 5G42, 10.46 Holbeck Loco Sidings to Gascoigne Wood Sidings (11.23), so it would seem more will be moving for storage there prior to onward movement for scrapping. RMweb Gold Market65 Posted December 15, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 15, 2019 There are three 142’s lined up at Hull Botanic Gardens depot today. Sadly, from a train, it’s not possible to see the unit numbers. I guess they’ll soon be going for scrap too. Rob. 1 1

RMweb Gold russ p Posted December 15, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 15, 2019 Interesting to see they now have the RHS day headlight working now, when they were new that was purely a dummy , there was no switch for it unlike the 143s where it could be selected on a rotary switch
