RMweb Gold Joseph_Pestell Posted February 21, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted February 21, 2019 Or perhaps that should be called a traversing turntable? Anyway, during a sleepless period last night I was thinking about design for a fiddleyard where one also needs to turn steam locomotives and came to the conclusion that one might save a bit of length by having a turntable that also moves laterally as a traverser. Minitrix made such a thing for N but I don't think that I have seen one for HO/OO. Made me think that, in a fiddleyard context, where appearance is not critical, this would be an ideal product to produce in laser cut ply. I wonder if anyone has already done it? hayfield
I think I have seen one made by Noch which looks to be laser cut, been thinking of building one out of ply as a runaround at the end of a platform as a space saver
