AMJ Posted March 18, 2019 Share Posted March 18, 2019 If you take a look at the factory fitted details on rolling stock we are getting to the stage where what can't be done? Electric locos with controllable pantographs. I have seen USA diesels with more illumination than Blackpool. Similarly the option could be available for the steam locos to have valve gear lights etc. Some time ago there was a unit with operational doors on here, that is surely one of the next animation details. Having seen very small cheap motors this could be feasible especially with DCC and the door lights. A friend of mine does 3D scanning and offers the facility that he can do a mini me to stand on your layout/footplate. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
