Dapol Class 142

Hi, Has anybody fitted the new Dapol Class 142 units with a DCC chip? If so did you use Dapol's own chip or other make and did you place the same chip in the dummy coach for the head/tail lights? Thanks Chris.

Just put an Legomanbiffo Class 142 ESU Loksound Next 18 Micro & the ESU sealed Sugarcube speaker in this, tight fit but it goes in 'Just'  it sound good.

Thanks for the reply....Only just spotted it!! Think I will give the sound option a miss for now though! lol

Mine has 2 Gaugemaster Omni decoders in it. Which was mostly what was available at a show I was at. My intention would be to use a laisdcc decoder in the dummy car for cheapness (although I have a suspicion they make the Gaugemaster ones anyway, and they do make the Imperium), then your decoder of choice in the motorised unit.
