Publicising Model Railway Club. Does and one use Twitter / Instagram?

Does anyone use Twitter and/or Instagram to publicise their Club please?

 

If so do you any worthwhile tips please?

It depends on who you see as your target for membership. Looking at the average demographic, a poster in a local model shop window would be a safer bet.

Only if you want people who are already in the know to attend...

 

There is a huge market out there now that is ripe for plucking. Look at recent TV programmes on Channel Five and BBC Four.

 

Plenty of articles in the local press recently as well. This was in the bottom section of the BBC website earlier. So a local story has got nationwide viewing.
