We have four volumes covering all of the London Midland Region's engines sheds from 1948 to 1968 all being released on 20 March 2019.

The volumes are 120 pages large format with generally one photograph to the page, based upon the 1948 to 1950 shed codes.

LMS engine sheds , line drawings of the buildings , track drawings and photos of locos in and around the shed. Or locos blocking a good view of the part of the shed you want to model. brilliant volumes with shed allocations.

The Midland volume has pictures of for example a Johnson 2-4-0 leaving Derby round house and 9Fs at Wellingborough.

Unbeatable for shed info ,have all 7 LMS volumes.

They do that, all the time. Photographers back in the day just couldn't get their priorities right. Sheds would have been a good deal cleaner and neater, without the engines, too.

In the unlikely event that anyone wanted a copy of either Volume 1 or Volume 2 of these Wild Swan books, then I have a very few copies in stock,  recently found in  the warehouse.

Happy to supply either at £25.00 each inc P&P, PM if interested.
