Oh dear, the quality of this discourse is degenerating.

You will notice I declined to add any more on that subject !

I'm pleased to say that I have been officially asked to organise the supply of pasties and pies again.

So that was 50 veggie pasties and a spinach & cabbage pie, I believe?

O YES PLEASE !!!

Can I NOT have the spinach and cabbage pie thank you

but if that's the only option i will have one of my own breakfasts at my own bed and breakfast just up the road thank you very much

being the owner I can have as much bacon on the plate as I like

I think the Health police are seeking to stop that.

Er, sorry guys, over the weekend I've been in email conversation with the hall secretary .

According to their new policy, we are not allowed to serve any meat products at the Member's Day. They've had a complaint from a previous hirer about contamination and have revised their hiring policy.

I have tried to negotiate but they are adamant that the no-meat rule must be adhered to.

Those veggie/greenie activists should be taken out and shot at dawn. Minority beliefs, spoiling it for the majority! I know they tend to be a bit more lenient in their views to those that restrict their diet to white meat.

Maybe if you renegotiate they might allow some white meat as opposed to red meat.

One could almost believe it's April Fowls day.

Personally I really don't care because I'll be wearing my Pasty Smugglers so if anyone wants to place an order let me know.

Yours

Perhaps you could try the Pull Through Pasties,

the myth of which I was I introduced to when

I first moved to Plymouth.

i won't mention the pasty maker involved,

but the story goes that the circles of pastry

were laid in a row, the veg was added then

a piece of meat, on the end of a length of string,

was pulled along the row. That was the nearest

you got to meat in the pasty.

If you have any weathering questions, Mick B will be happy to demonstrate - bring your own rolling stock along and have a chat.

There will be a spray booth, compressor, airbrush and other stuff for you to play with if you wish. Paints, washes and pigments will be there for you to try out, too, and some worked examples to study and point and snigger at.

No meat was farmed in the creation of this post.

Goldmembers can get themselves a gold tint which will make it easier to claim the additional free pasty

We have had a no meat policy for years although I will admit there have been ocassional lapses on my part. Cheese and Onion Pasties will suit me fine.

I can also bring with me a selection of weathering materials for sale, if folks would like the opportunity to give me money in exchange. I can only accept hard cash, though. If this is of interest then send me a PM and I can let you have a price list. The assortment will consist of paints, washes, pigments, brushes, thinners and cleaners.
