Don't worry too much about bringing specialist Geordie fayre for Bgman, his tastes are pretty basic. A small fishy in a little dishy will do just fine for him, ta.

Thank you Uncle Timothy, will you bring some of your Steradent tablets and a glass for me too ?

Why not, we can toast the Hornby Terrier together.

It'll go all gooey & the butter will slide off.

On the other hand,   Toasted Terrier = Hot Dog ,  which gives an alternative if the pasties have all been eaten.

Quite impossible dear boy, there will ever only be one like me apparently !

And to be certain I wish to make it clear that I have no connection with Dolly the Sheep.

Will do Porcy. I take it the reputations of yourself and Mr Axlebox go before you even in the West Country.......

What about Edna the Ewe?

I'm sorry I don't have any knowledge of her, is she friendly with Gordon Ramsee ?

However, I have carried out some cloning for most of the day and pleased to say my laptop has mutated,  as a consequence  it seems to have become extremely fast and loose !

Yours truly,

W.Izzkid

Bring out your goods ! Bring out your goods !

Having had a bit of 'turn' a couple of weeks ago, I volunteered to run the SWAG 2019 Bring & Buy stall (Duh).

Additional Bring and Buy forms will be available on the day as well as short test track ('00','TT' and 'N').

Any questions please PM me.

Cheers,

Aidan

Update to line-up:

Unfortunately Simon Castens cannot attend with Titfield Thunderbolt books.

But, Peter from Lord & Butler will be bringing some along, plus some DVDs.

Don't forget to pre-order items from our suppliers and collect on the day.

Cakebox Challenge Display

Please can I have a show of hand for those bringing a Cakebox entry to display, just so I can allocate the correct amount of table space?

As an incentive, KNP's winning entry 'Long Walk Home' will be on show, plus Kevin's other entry  'Cold!'.

I can bring some Show of Hands CDs to display play if that's any use.

One of them is called Long Way Home, which is almost the same .  .  .  .

Never mind your cakes and your cake boxes, I've ordered the pasties and the pie today!

For ordinary people, I used my initiative and bought several dozen of the special 'Seaweed and Roast Walnut' pasties, as they were several pence cheaper than the beef ones.

I have, however, also ordered 7 of the triple-sized beef pasties for the RMWeb 'Gold' members expected to be present.

Cake boxes are for cake not trains. :P

I'll bring a cake box but it will have the correct content.

What about cake in the shape of a train? I think that is the perfect compromise...... I for one would rather the cake than an engine :laugh_mini:

Is there anyone planning a ride on the WSR on Saturday 27th, and if so which train?

We should be at BL for midday-ish.

Optimal trains appear to be either the 12:40 to Minehead and the 14:00 back to BL, or the 14:40 and 16:30, arriving back at 17:52.
