No, we are all inclusive here.

You'll just get folks staring at you, trying to work out who you are.

I'll have my baseball cap with 'my' avatar picture on it :)

The question remains, who is Worple and what has he done? ;)

19 Worple Road, Wimbledon SW19, was the Divisional Manager's Office, South Western Division, Southern Region from about 1964 until 1984.

It is now the UK HQ of Lidl.

Having looked, unsccessfully, for a SWAG 2019 Sales Form, could I appeal for a link = if said form exists.

Don't want to waste valuable pasty/cake eating time writing out sales lists on the day.

All the best to all who are coming.

Can we just turn up on the day as viewers or do we have to book in?  Won't know until the day whether I am free or still finishing off work on editing the next  SLS Journal.  That  will have to be my priority over a day off.

Just turn up, John, there's no booking in or registration etc.

No charge on the door either, just come along and have a good time!

Gold members will be expected to make a donation to ease the plight of lesser mortals. Small tanky engines of the B4, terrier or industrial nature are particularly welcome...

Oi! You can't address Important Posh People in that impertinent tone of voice!

Gold members have the right, enshrined in the Fourth Charter of Horrocksford, to demand that lesser metalled mortals supply them with sufficient cute tank locomotives to meet their daily requirements, not the other way round!

You are most kind, Sir, but I'd rather you assembled it, motorised it and presented it to Herr Stubbelbinigvorsichtigfahrkarten next Sunday morning for use on his layout.

Badges.

Amongst the flurry of activity on the layout, I have also spared some time to make my badge. My mum kindly attached a new fabric loop in the form of a bunch of owls... guess that'll make me a twit (twoo)...

I blame the fumes from the paint and glue...

The weather forecast for the weekend looks perfect,  partly cloudy on Saturday afternoon and light cloud on Sunday.

So bring plenty of suncream and your wellies!!

(Edit - cue the Welsh jokes...)

Or there's this .

Funnily enough, where we've just been for a short holiday (hence the near radio silence since Good Friday) has one of those. I though it was the only train on the island but when we got back today the ever-reliable (?) Wikipedia told me that between the wars there had been a narrow-gauge line about 30 km long (WP said 3 ft gauge but given the history of the place metre-gauge would be more likely). A loco is plinthed at the former Northern terminus.

Can you guess where we were? Do you want to? Do you care?
