Tony Pritchard
MINERA QUARRY 00/009 gauge Minera Quarries (as it was then known was constructed when I edited Model Railway Collector in the 1990s. It was 34 inches x 13 inches and spread over three levels. It had a 009 feeder line on the top level and a two lane fiddle yard, behind the loaders, with the headshunt giving enough room for a diesel shunter and one wagon. I have started on the rebuild, using a 4 foot by 2 foot board on three levels See http://tonysmodelrailways.co.uk/6.html for pictures of the original
5050
Be interesting to see this. The real Minera is a life-long interest of mine. If you look at my 'White Hill Mining Area' thread in the industrial section the concept is based on Minera. Edited March 18, 2019 by 5050
