LNERGE
This caught my eye.. Is that a genuine return to destination? I had fun showing the kids where Bracebridge was. Edited October 12, 2020 by LNERGE

Not for this wagon, no. This wagon was used for gas cylinder traffic taking bottles from the gasworks to depots servicing buffet cars, but not necessarily Bracebridge. Sometime we like to use Return to or Empty to locations that are close to locations that are personal to members of the group, in the absence of a location being found on the vehicle.
LNERGE
An excellent idea to personalise wagons like that. 1

With it being black with straw lettering points me to thinking it was an engineers wagon. What type is anyone's guess. Planked so an open or a van. Return to Bracebridge would have been carried by similar wagons. But not 281882.
Fat Controller
Didn't King's Lynn have a creosoting depot; if so, this may well have been a 'Medium' 3-planker.
