This caught my eye..

Not for this wagon, no. This wagon was used for gas cylinder traffic taking bottles from the gasworks to depots servicing buffet cars, but not necessarily Bracebridge.

Sometime we like to use Return to or Empty to locations that are close to locations that are personal to members of the group, in the absence of a location being found on the vehicle.

I’ve always wondered what type of wagon this was from..

With it being black with straw lettering points me to thinking it was an engineers wagon. What type is anyone's guess. Planked so an open or a van.

Return to Bracebridge would have been carried by similar wagons.  But not 281882.

To slide slightly sideways onto a modelling theme, those pics of the shocvan show how much the underframe on current kit offerings doesn't protrude far enough IMHO, the reason I extend mine to show a little more décolletage as it were. Anyone else of a similar opinion?
