calvin Streeting
A question about indutrial loco's and wooden beam buffers, has anyone got a pics of a standard gauge loco that had a beam buffer attached (hope that's the right name) as standard buffers can snag on tight yard radiuses.. I aslo assume that at one point a anything gose policy probably applied (due to being on private rails etc. any pointers helpfull
Ruston
I presume that you mean dumb, or block, buffers? Search the interwebz and you'll find loads. Here's just a few for you to be going on with. https://transportsofdelight.smugmug.com/RAILWAYS/BRITISH-INDUSTRIAL-LOCOMOTIVES/INDUSTRIAL-DIESEL-AND-ELECTRIC/i-hG3r7Bx/ https://transportsofdelight.smugmug.com/RAILWAYS/BRITISH-INDUSTRIAL-LOCOMOTIVES/INDUSTRIAL-DIESEL-AND-ELECTRIC/i-zjBxvWs/A https://transportsofdelight.smugmug.com/RAILWAYS/BRITISH-INDUSTRIAL-LOCOMOTIVES/INDUSTRIAL-DIESEL-AND-ELECTRIC/i-fKFQvNq/A https://transportsofdelight.smugmug.com/RAILWAYS/BRITISH-INDUSTRIAL-LOCOMOTIVES/INDUSTRIAL-DIESEL-AND-ELECTRIC/i-c7Wc2Xc/A https://transportsofdelight.smugmug.com/RAILWAYS/BRITISH-INDUSTRIAL-LOCOMOTIVES/INDUSTRIAL-DIESEL-AND-ELECTRIC/i-LQtWFLC/A
calvin Streeting
cool thanks... "Block Buffers" or "dumb buffers" was the money shot.. as knowing correct term helps find it, and wooden buffers brings up more of buffer stops than on a loco.. Many Thanks..
