IIRC, in the transition from Cawoods to BFL, many of the containers ran in worn yellow but with Cawoods painted out.

Agreed. Also British Fuels red box's could be seen in the same train with CPL distribution green box's in the early 2000s

Could do with one of those hattons formation guides, looked online for pics but not so many there that I could find. Want short rake sectorisation era but then the DRS packs look interesting

mmmm what to do!

Another stunning model from you guys, shame I have no need for them as they only seem to be in use with DRS in the North West now.

With DRS they run to Crewe Coal sidings to Sellafirld and eventually Drigg LLW depository from Dungeness in Kent and Berkeley, Gloucestershire.

They have also run to Hull docks before to take naturally occurring radioactive sources to Sellafield from North Sea oil.

They are also used as barrier vehicles to spread the load of a train over bridges. On the Cumbrian Coast, they are places between each loco and between each KXA-C flask wagon between Barrow Marine Terminal and Sellafield. In Scotland (as mentioned above) they serve the same purpose on flasks to Georgemas Junction (for Douneray).

They also come with various types of boxes that aren't impossible to scratcbuild or convert from a carwoods box.

Interesting announcement, I could be interested in a single DRS one - maybe two. And certainly if you are making gypsum containers separately, I would be interested.

But, I have questions. Firstly, I cannot see the DRS PFA and container on your site? DRS PKA containers appear to come in three colours (grey, blue and red) with one side just pillars and the other with some plated boxes. The doors appear to be flush -

Secondly, are you making the 'modern' gypsum containers as seen below? These seem to get everywhere with GBRf. These would be the containers I would want separately, as currently you can only get them in a 3D print: https://i.materialise.com/en/shop/item/902c8cce-50e5-4ed5-9447-212e7db0ed03

Hi, 159220, thanks for putting up as they are some useful photos for scratch building one of those containers at some point. The DRS ones are there as ordered yesterday there are 2 packs with the half height low level waste containers and a triple pack of empty wagons. Hope that helps.

Cheers

Mark

Looks like a mix of BFL and battered faded Yellow Cawoods here taken at Gollanfield on the Inverness Aberdeen, for more examples search Roddy MacPhees Flickr

And another good excuse for Accurascale to do V tanks too.

Just on those Gypsum containers - we've no evidence they ever ran on the PFA's, so they are not in this run, but if anyone has data to prove otherwise....

10% off bundles? Where was that? I missed that.

In the product detail view there is a link to the bundle deals. It loads a second or so after the product detail page is done, and is under the specification.

If for any reason, any one missed it, just drop us a line with your order ID and we'll provide a refund or gift card!

Yes, the site will show VAT or not depending on your location (outside the EU etc)

In my screengrab, it's ex VAT, so for the Cawoods (and BF rake deals) you get 4 packs, or 12 wagons for £251.82 including VAT (and you get free shipping) meaning a discount of £27.98 off the list price of £279.80

That works out at just £20.99 per wagon, including a container :)
