Not a lot has happened in TOPS today, other things in life have taken over, but I have just about had time to shorten the timber of the swivelling sector plate by 12 inches, or 300 of those little things that some people prefer to measure by.

I just need to replace the Tracks now and re do the power feeds.

Why I hear you ask? :o

Well the longest Train will be 5 Vans / Wagons plus a Brake Van and Loco, and a total length of 9ft Layout will be easier to fit along the side of TOPS and that leaves room for the other small ''OO'' Layout  I started the other day, thread and pics of that coming soon, and an announcement will be forthcoming on here.:D

Looking good Andy.

When you have fitted that BOOMBOX into the Sulzer type 2 will it sound like this

Nice sector plate!

Edit: I just plugged the headphone socket on the lap top into the tele sound bar and shut my eyes. Mrs' Squatch thinks I've gone too far this time!:wild:

Regards Shaun

Yep, that's the sound, Sulzer seem to have got the sound about right as it's very similar to my Model.:o:notme::good:

Just a little done on MS today,  wiring the revised Sector Plate, and then I concentrated on my New Layout, a 1980's Depot Layout; Kingsmill (Midland Road) TMD, the tread is on here somewhere.

Back on MS once the wiring is done on K after the weekend I hope.

Just an hour in TOPS before going off to visit Mum, and so I thought a running session on here might be a nice relaxing way to pass the time.

The Cl 20 collects the Mixed Goods for the main Yard.

Then the 25 arrives with some empty Vans for the Brewery.

And the Cl 128 departs the Parcels Bay.

Well at least it all still works.:good:

And a few more pics to keep all you  happy hunters happy.

The 25 arrives with the empties for the Brewery, uncouples and runs forward.

The 08 come in to remove the Brake Van and put it into the departure Road ready to make up the next departing Train.

With the Brake Van in the departure siding, the 08 then collects the full Vans from the Brewery.

And attaches them to the Brake Van.

So some from the cutting room floor, and in no particular order.

SAME AS I HAD YESTERDAY AND FRIDAY.

The system won't let me add photos even though there shrunk down as ALL previous ones.

Think I'll give up for now, and try again tonight.

Glad you put that last photo up.  I’d got myself all cross-wobbled and confused trying to work out how a folding end on a swivelling fiddle Yard would work.

Two layouts, one folding, one swivelling. Simples.

Cheers Paul, Don't worry mate, I get confused at times, I like them both, but both have their drawback, the swivelling Sector has risen with the heat so needs a finger on it to push it down about 1mm. And the Folding F/Y means I need to handle stock, so I will get a couple more Peco Loco Lifts once in daily use.

Just love that 40. Keep the pictures coming please Andy. Trevor

Cheers Trevor, Good to hear from you mate, yes the 40's are a BEAST, very nice sound too with the Zimo / Digitrains Sound Chip and a Bass reflex speaker, just needs some serious weathering to grubby it down now.
