The Bachmann Times for club members says still in the design office but its exact state of development is unknown.

willjam39
To be fair the current list shows no new details about the progress on the models where as up thread someone had stated the Bachmann times had a small update. Not knowing how often this is printed/distro'd i was wondering as well how far they had come?
Pre Grouping fan
The last update in the Bachmann Times was that they had gone into tooling. Next update will be August along with the next quarters announcements. 1

RMweb Gold PaulRhB Posted August 21, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 21, 2021 Thanks Phil & Steve, very useful look and answered too many questions as I now like three of them!
Quarryscapes
Really shaping up nicely. Allowing for some slightly chunky detail and the awful 009 standard couplers, they look amazing. Looking forward to having a little and large comparison with my 16mm Red Damsel.
RMweb Gold tomparryharry Posted August 21, 2021 RMweb Gold Share Posted August 21, 2021 Not for me, personally*, but nonetheless, these little Hunslets look just the job. Like Mike Stationmaster, there will sure to be lots of micro layouts on the horizon. I reckon these little fellas will be flying off the shelves very quickly. * No quibbles, just out of my niche, that's all.
1722
@Phil Parker, is the tool box (if it is a tool box) on Britomart able to be removed, do you know? Thanks for the video and interview; annoyingly I have Alice on pre-order but very much fancy a cabbed version too. My bank account won’t thank you! No idea - they wouldn't let us try to dismantle the models! However, if it doesn't pull off, then being plastic, I'd expect a razor saw would do the job. The toolbox is there because it's present on the prototype, but I'd think that is a version without the box were demanded, the tooling suite should accommodate it long term.

willjam39
I also like the fact they have thought of those who would want to rob the running gear for other engines. Shows an understanding of the 009 market (and keeping an eye on how to sell more)
