Radial415 Posted March 30, 2019 Share Posted March 30, 2019 Never got round to sorting out a build thread for this, but thought I'd share a few snaps of the final result. The basic premise is a station somewhere in Somerset on an offshoot of the S&D that, having been transferred to the Western Region, has fallen victim to the venerable Dr. Beeching... Like the old railwayman on the platform, the station is "waiting for a train" that isn't going to come. There are a few bits and pieces I would have like to have added if I had more time (a bit more vegetation, and general clutter) and there are one or two rough edges, but this is pretty much my first attempt at any serious modelling, so I'm fairly happy with how it's turned out.
