Is the 8 thou difference in height noticeable when mixing these track ranges or is there also a difference in sleeper thickness that means that the top of the rail heads align? If you use rail joiners, there will be a small bump at the top, no matter how thick the sleepers are. I don't notice it in normal use, only when I tried to figure out what sizes the rails were.
