Thanks Trevor, will duly head over to your WordPress account to have a look.

Bryn

One of the best layout blogs that I have seen.

Bought April CM to read about this layout but found that is the 2nd instalment. First instalment presumably in the March issue???

If you have a fiddle yard use the code 75 there and get code 83 for the scenic bit.

Is the 8 thou difference in height noticeable when mixing these track ranges or is there also a difference in sleeper thickness that means that the top of the rail heads align?

If you use rail joiners, there will be a small bump at the top, no matter how thick the sleepers are.  I don't notice it in normal use, only when I tried to figure out what sizes the rails were.

There are some compromise rail joiners available but I have trouble getting them on.

I pack under the sleepers to bring the tops into line.
