WIMorrison Posted April 18, 2019 Share Posted April 18, 2019 (edited) Due to changes in the current Oracle Java platform licencing model many companies are changing to OpenJdk https://adoptopenjdk.net/ which is free and runs all existing Java code but unfortunately JMRI (or the Decoderpro bit I use) always looks for Oracle Java 8 when trying to start it despite me having OpenJDK12 installed from the above link. My other Java programmes run happily with OpenJDK just not JMRI. does anyone know how to make this opensource program with athe OpenJDK platform? JZjr Posted April 18, 2019 Share Posted April 18, 2019 Hi I would imagine it is a fairly simple fix somewhere along the lines of adding OpenJDK12 to the list of acceptable 'Java' versions.
