Andrew P
Very busy today with other duties, so not much done in TOPS. However I did finish the Fuel Tank and added some pipes, so that is another job almost completed. First some Discharge Pipes.
Andrew P
Also a couple of new arrivals on Shed, but awaiting pipework at some point. Although the Van is really for Mason Street.
Allegheny1600
Hi Andy, Looking great as ever! I take it the VGA is a Bachmann model? How well does it run, please? I built one from a kit, many years ago and I wasn't that impressed but I'm sure an RTR version should be much better. Cheers, John

Andrew P
Today I fitted an un coupler to the Fuel Tanks Road, and tried to disguised it as a crossing. 10

So first some from Keir Hardy's Hornsea Broadway. And now a couple of others that I quite liked.

I think it’s probably the proximity of the tank to the building that makes it look too big. It does after all dwarf the office block.

After reading this last night and consultation with the Great Maestro, Clive Mortimore, I have removed the innerds of the Bund and sat the Tank on it's stools on the floor and re built around it. IT DOES LOOK BETTER. Cheers Guys. 13

Andrew P
So today as a complete change from the weathering of Locos for Seven Mills Sidings yesterday, I decided to do some more wiring on here. I now have the Portacabin Lights working, but may need an interior for the Office, but can't get into the Portacabins now but will need to add some paint to reduce light bleed. 9
Andrew P
I also picked up a couple of Ground Signals at DEMU on Saturday, so they are now fitted as well. I know they may be in the wrong place, but it's only a representation of working colour lights.
Andrew P
A quick Lazymans cure for the Light Bleed on the Portacabins and to dim down the Office a bit, I've added a Resistor into that circuit this evening. I had several to chose from and found one that brings it down enough to be seen when the Shed Lights are out, but with no light bleed.

Andrew P
Just a couple of jobs to do on here now, like some railings in the Staff Car Park and the spare land by the Bridge, then it will be put up for sale, whilst I get back on with Mason Street ready to part with that one as well.
RMweb Gold MarshLane Posted June 5, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 5, 2019 I may have missed the odd message here Andy (apologies if so), but if your selling Kingsmill and Mason Street .... this sounds like a build up to something new and bigger! YOUR not planning to go T-gauge with red poles over water in Scotland are you??
